3. Gold owners are compared to terrorists

100 years ago, people were terrorfied of Anarchists. Anarchists were anti-industrialists who saw machines and progress as the enemy of humanity. And several anarchist terror acts struck fear into Americans. And when newspapers and politicians wanted to demonize anyone, they would call that person an Anarchist. 50 years later, it was the Communists. After 9/11 it's terrorists. If a politician or the media wants to demonize someone, they are called terrorists or are "one with the terrorists." If you begin to hear talk show hosts and media types call Gold speculators "Financial Terrorists," then you know the media is beginning to brain-wash middle America that gold is evil.

4. Gold is branded as Anti-American or Anti-Christian

Patriotism and Religion are powerful forces. And a great way to manipulate someone's thinking is to declare an item as a "Danger to the Nation" or as "an affront to God." If you begin to hear powerful forces from the world of politics or religion demonize gold in these manners, then you know that confiscation is not far behind.
