If you want to use Turbo tax, you will probably find that the price of Turbo tax can range anywhere from $40 to close to $60 for the Deluxe Version. However, if you are filing at 1040EZ and don't have many deductions, you can file for free from the Turbo Tax Website. And if you search your bank's or broker's website, you may find exclusive Turbo Tax discounts this tax season. 

Finding Special Discounts

Turbo Tax partners with many bank and financial institutions to provide special discounts for all levels of Turbo Tax software. You can usually find advertisements for the Turbo tax discounts at the online banking websites where you have your banking or checking. Here are some tips to where to find the discounts.

• Check the Home Page - Banking sites tend to have alot of information and you may have already seen the special discount and not have noticed it. Turbo Tax uses red and blue colors. Bank home pages tend to not be colorful so be on the lookout for Turbo Tax's colors and logos.
• Check the tax Section of your Banking Website - While the Turbo Tax discount may be offered on the homepage, you may find a more prominent ad on the Tax section of your bank's website. Be sure to check out the bank section.
• Log Out Page - I found the discount offer for Turbo Tax on my bank's log off page. Sometimes, we tend to close that page right away. Be sure to check for any special discounts for Turbo tax or any other tax preparation service.
• Or simply contact the bank and ask - If you do not see any offer for Turbo tax Discounts, be sure to ask your bank the next to you visit a branch. Or you can use the live chat feature on your bank's website. Easier yet, just do a search for "Turbo Tax Discount" on your bank's website search box.

How Good are the Discounts?

On my Grow Financial Account, they offered a 35% discount on the Deluxe version of Turbo Tax. When I was directed to the special discount version of the Turbo Tax site, I saw discounts anywhere from 30% to 50% on all level of Turbo tax products.
